I love looking at what other people are loving! Learning about new products and things to research make my heart happy. Here are my personal lifestyle favorites for February. My list contains my favorites from my life. Books, makeup, and essential oils oh my! Grab a cup of tea and lets start the list. Yummy Drink I tend to go through phases of my favorite thing to drink and eat. My favorite drink this month has been lime flavored sparkling water and Ningxia Red! If I’m really feeling sassy, I’ll add a Ningxia Nitro. This drink tastes delicious and is just sweet enough to tame my crazy sweet tooth. Besides…

    Raising Bottle Fed Calves

Here is how my first week went with raising bottle fed calves. It has been an adventure, but there is a lot of fun with raising bottle fed calves. How it Started Last Friday my husband came home and told me that our local dairy had bull calves for sale and that they needed good homes. I have been wanting calves forever! However, we didn’t have any cow to nurse them so we would have to bottle feed. He told me that we would have to bottle feed them. Being the animal lover that I am, I said that was perfectly fine. However, we needed to feed them in the…

I went through a stamping phase, a doodle phase, a sticker phase, etc. However, I always got overwhelmed and felt like I had to be a slave to my planner in order to use it properly. I used to look at all of the Pinterest perfect planner pictures and think why can’t I do that? Then I discovered the Bullet Journal, I quickly fell in love with all of the freedom that…

Reading The Bullet Journal Method By: Ryder Carroll

A Little Back Story I started my very first bullet journal in 2016. My love of planners and calendars since I was little had me always looking forward to getting a new planner to start the year! While searching Pinterest and looking at planners and DIY planners one night, I came across something called the Bullet Journal. I had never heard of it and I was instantly curious. Between Pinterest and YouTube I saw so many tutorials and ways to set up my Bullet Journal. The ease and flexibility was just mind blowing and I instantly ordered a dot journal on Amazon and anxiously waited for it to arrive. In…

    How to Tackle Dog Hair

We all love our fur babies am I right? However, their dog hair can get a little out of hand at times. It seems like overnight, dog hair piles up in the corners, covers the couch, and floats in the air. To tackle the dog hair problem, you need to be proactive and do some things that really help combat the dog hair problem. These are the steps I take to tackle Ginger’s dog hair. Just a side note, my dog has short hair, but sheds like crazy. (You might have to adjust some of these steps to fit your dog and lifestyle.) 1. Weekly dog baths  …

    My Favorite Grove Collaborative Products

I have been living in a rural area for two years and before that, I lived in another rural area for three years. We have some local stores, but no Target or TJ Maxx to find the products I love. I like to use more natural, plant-based products to clean with. Bleach irritates my throat when I smell it, so we don’t use it in our house. Products like Method and Mrs. Meyer’s are what I use. These are pretty popular brands, however, they couldn’t be found at my local store.      Enter, YouTube! I’m an avid YouTube watcher, (hello cleaning videos) and one YouTuber I was watching said something…

    Cook at Home

My Story        Now, I don’t cook every single night, but pretty darn close! I enjoy cooking, so if you don’t you might be thinking I’m crazy! I like cooking, saving money, and staying in! These reasons help keep me motivated to cook every night.      See, I grew up eating at home almost every night and so did my husband. While we were dating and after we got married, we both liked the idea of eating at home most nights. Now, I didn’t grow up eating everything homemade like The Pioneer Woman, but I did eat at home. I feel like eating at home is kind…

Sunday Habits for a Stress-Free Monday

Does anybody get the Sunday blues? I have been guilty of getting them, but I usually get excited to set goals and start over on Monday. I have a list of things that I go through every Sunday to set the tone for my week ahead. I usually work outside of the home most days of the week, so I like to make sure that I’m ready to go in order to prevent from running around like a crazy woman Monday morning.  Laundry Finished  It is so easy to let your laundry pile up, until Monday when you are digging through your clothes trying to find that certain top that…
